About
hd-fractals.com is brought to you by
We are on a mission. it began amidst a seriously hedonistic blur in the early nineties
- the following was decided -
Based upon the opinion that “anything made up by man from nothing is a form of art”, teamfresh came to the conclusion that mathematics itself is indeed an artform.
At this point teamfresh developed a taste for some serious fractal satisfaction. Having a love for maths and being creative, fractals hit the spot when it came to find a way to glimpse a good hard look at infinity. After having created fractal movies for some years and finally being able to produce something that we felt we could be proud of – it was time to bring some serious fractal animations to the people. This desire is born from the fact that if you love fractals as much as teamfresh does, then you want to be able to see them in the most crisp smooth manner possible with amazing music to boot – and thats what we want to give to you.
teamfresh has an insatiable appetite for perfection within all animations produced, and while we freely admit that our early works could have turned out a little better, we are aware that this is a result of the learning curve and are pleased that all future works will have been benefited by this.
So if you like watching awesome fractal animations then just maybe you will love our site! teamfresh aims to provide you with zooms into the fractal set that take your breath away. We have made them all available to view on the internet today and you can watch them here – but for the ultimate fractal experience - download the HD versions and unleash eye blistering clarity on to your screen.

Excellent site. It was pleasant to me.
Fantastic. Years ago I made a little program in C to navigate with your keyboard into the mandelbrot set, but seeing your stuff in HD is amazing. I wish there was a simple way to express what a fractal is to people who don’t know math, and feel satisfied that they actually did understand!!!
aww thanks! I agree its not exactly easy to explain in a nutshell.
I’m a novice and was introduced this morning through Steve Strogatz’s article in the NY Times on imaginary numbers, so please forgive my lack of intellectual grasp of fractals at this point. Question for now is, can I download for use as a screen saver, and if so, how?
It is possible to use these animations as a screensaver.
All you need to do is download a little app that allows you to use movie files as a screensaver.
I have found a FREE app and tested it on a windows operating system with my files and it worked just fine =)
you can select one or more movie files to be played and when the screen saver comes on it plays the files. you can select the movies to be played full screen or half size etc. you can also choose to have the movies muted or played with the sound on!
it can be downloaded from here..

“Best movie I’ve seen this Millennium” —and you can quote me! :-}}}
If somebody ever does a remake of “2001″ they could do a HELL of a lot worse
than to use E214 footage as the LSD showstopper at the end of 2001…
“My God…..It’s full of Stars!…”
Nice movie (…to 10^-226 something)!
Ever had a poke at Chaospro, http://www.chaospro.de, the poor mans

Render ON!
You guys rock!
Keep up the amazing work!
Your work has inspired me to create my own fractals. Thanks! x)
Like everyone else, I love your work. But please tell your webmaster that at the bottom of each of your webpages is small graphic saying “You are missing the plugin ____ to play videos”. On the main page, _____ is VLC which is respectable, but on http://www.hd-fractals.com/last-lights-on/ page, ____ is Whitesmoke, which is a nasty virus which took some time to eliminate from my computer when I got it (from somewhere else, not you) a few months ago. So I suspect those little graphics are some malware that’s been added to your site, and you should look into them.
Would it be possible to get realtime (30 FPS) of 3d fractals with a GPU renderer? If so, would you like to collaborate on a OSX desktop app and screensaver to be sold on the Mac App Store?
thanks for your comments. We have fixed the “page loading time”/”sponsors” issue for you and all the other readers/subscribers. Although I can not speak for our sponsors websites I can assure you that this site is monitored daily, this allows me to tell you there isn’t and never will be any malware or spyware etc on hd-fractals.com – ever.
Steve you have an interesting question, as far as I know it is possible, but due to heavy workloads we have no plans to engage in software development at this time, however I wish you luck in your endeavours. As an after thought, it might be worth your time checking out the fractal forums, there may be someone there who is willing to get on board.

Your videos are very moving and we love the music we also think
combined would be compelling and would love to add more of your artistic values to our channel your light work is appreciated this is not only the curve it is also the way to see within the self and to see within where thought goes
now scary or not to some it is in the understanding to do this from earth and see all through peripheral thought ~:0)
You always had a talent, the patience, and the brute CPU power to make some sweet fractal deep zooms!

Hi! I was looking around on YouTube for some dynamic motion backgrounds to use in a lyric video I am making for my friend’s band, and came across the fast version of Split Point II. I’d really like to use it, and was wondering if I could include some clips from it in the video I’m making. I would of course give full credit at the end of the video to Teamfresh.
